A unique promotion system developed by SMSrox - a Melbourne based company, gives consumers the power to retrieve special deals of the businesses of their choice by SMS - only when they want to.
To retrieve a special deal of a business, consumers simply SMS the code of the business to SMSrox central mobile number, and within 20 seconds the system will send the current special deal of the business to the consumers’ mobile handset.
Consumers love the fact that they will never receive any special deal from any business unless they “ask” for it.
“We started SMSrox as ‘promotion with permission’ model, whereby consumers gave permission (opt in) to the businesses they’d like to receive special deals from,” said SMSrox business manager, John Tjoe. “But soon we learned that many people didn’t like that. They ‘told’ us by opting out, which they basically meant ‘stop sending me’ special deals by SMS.”
So what benefits do businesses get from using the system?
“Consumers do not want to waste time retrieving a special deal of a business unless they are in the market to buy the products/services the business sells,” Tjoe said. “So chances are those who retrieve a special deal, will redeem it, unless the deal is not appealing to them.”
Once the system is activated for a business, the system will allocate a code unique to that business. What the business needs to do is simply include their code and SMSrox central number in their marketing materials and advertisements. For example: “Get our HOT Deal within 20 seconds, SMS xxxx to 0428 767 669”.
Using the system, businesses will turn their marketing materials: business cards, flyers, brochures and all their advertisements - into powerful HOT LEAD generators, attracting consumers who are in the market to buy what they are selling again, and again.
To businesses, SMSrox Promotion On-Demand System is extremely cost effective and measurable.
SMSrox does not charge consumers to use the service. When retrieving a special deal, consumers pay the normal cost of sending an SMS to their own mobile carrier. Businesses pay the cost of sending their special deals from as low as 25 cents per SMS.
